Phantom "Cleared Balance"

Every month for years I reconcile my credit card account to the penny. Today, after I had validated all the payments and credits ( right side of reconcile screen) the summary at the bottom reflected that I have a "Cleared Blance" (positive $17.78). But I have not yet checked off any items in the left "Charges" column. The "Cleared Balance" at this point should be Zero. And it should increase with each checked item until the "Cleared Balance" matches the "Statement Balance" resulting in a "Difference" of $0.00. e.g. balanced.

Can anyone explain where this $17.78 is coming from? A phantom amount. I have done a search for this amount across all accounts in my entire Quicken. There are no transactions of any kind for that amount.
