Why does 'Bills and Reminders" collapse after every entry?

In the investing register display, why does the 'Bills and Reminders' panel collapse after every entry? Previously, when expanded, the panel remained expanded after an item was entered into the register, but now it collapses. When there are multiple items to be entered it becomes tedious to expand the panel after every item.
