Quicken Mac Subscription Member ✭✭
I understand the concept of realized gains but don't understand why a sell and buy transaction in an IRA where no monies were transferred out which of course would result in taxable event is added to my income for that time. No income was realized, it was just a yearly redistribution to balance my investments. thx

Click on the little "…" button in the upper right corner of the Income & Expense panel, go to the Accounts tab, change the setting to "Selected Accounts", and deselect your retirement accounts. Activity in those accounts should stop appearing in the graph.
