Investment Account Transfer Can't Match Downloaded Transaction AGAIN

I asked this on another post and I didn't receive an alert someone had commented. I see the post was closed for some reason. Not sure why so I'm going to ask again.

I auto-transfer from a savings account to my Roth IRA investment account monthly.

When my IRA account downloads it shows my contribution amount. I have the option to accept the transaction but there's no option to manually match it to the transaction that I auto-transferred into the account.

I'm left with two instances of the transaction so I am forced to delete the downloaded transaction to keep my account accurate.

What can I do so that I don't have to manually delete a transaction?

I can't delete the auto-transfer since then that account wouldn't have the contribution deducted from that account.

For the question another user asked: "What's "off" that's preventing the match? The date? The amount? Because, they should match."

Nothing is "off" to compare. There is no option to Match the downloaded transaction to an existing transaction. In fact, there is no options at all! All of my other accounts allow Accept, Delete, Match Manually. This has nothing.

Well, you never responded to my questions seeking more info about the matter. And after the thread had no activity for (I believe) 30 days, the Mods closed it.

Are you now saying that the date/amount/etc in your manually input transfer AND the downloaded transaction DO match … but that Q isn't associating them as such?

That would be most unusual, barring data file corruption. Have you tried Validating your Q data file … after 1st taking a backup?

I wasn't receiving email alerts for comments. Didn't realize had to turn it on.

I auto-transfer the amount from savings account to my retirement account in Quicken.

I download transactions from online retirement account to QQuicken.I now have the same $ amount twice in my retirement account. 1 the auto-transfer on my local account & the downloaded one from online. Normally you can accept the download or match it to one of the manually entered transactions.

There's no option to match it. Only accept. So I'm stuck with 2 individual transactions for the dame thing so I'm forced to delete 1.

    File isn't corrupted.
