Blank Quicken ID screen caused by router?

I'm using Quicken Classic for Windows and believe I have narrowed down the cause of the blank Quicken ID screen that I have been experiencing. I can consistently trigger the issue by selecting the from the menu: Help / Manage Your Subscription / My Quicken Account. When I do so while connected to my home WiFi internet router I consistently get the blank Quicken ID screen. If I do so while connected to any other WiFi router I've tried so far, I get the normal screens to enter the user ID and then the password and then see my account. I have duplicated the results with different Quicken data files and on two different computers. I have even tried connecting to a WiFi router that is connected via Ethernet to my home router and I am able to get a normal Quicken ID logon.

So I have eliminated the software setup, the data file, the computer and OS, and the ISP as a cause of the problem. All signs indicate the WiFi router itself. I have turned off all firewalls that I can find in the router configuration, and there is no change. I have also restarted the router. It seems that the WiFi router is somehow blocking either the request or the response for the Quicken ID screen. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is causing the router to block the Quicken ID protocol? Any suggestions as to how I can investigate this further? Any solutions?

The WiFi router in question is provided by xFinity and is a Model TG4482A from ARRIS Group, Inc. Quicken is Quicken Classic Deluxe, Version R56.9, Build 27.1.56.9.

@skeptic have you tried calling Xfinity? It could be that your router is faulty, or there might be a firmware update available.

@QuickUserPSP I have not yet called Xfinity. That's a good idea, but since this seems to be the only issue I have with my ISP, I'm going to have a hard time explaining it to them. I'm thinking it would be better if I could demonstrate exactly which packets the router is improperly blocking.

If you don't need a telephone line over IP you might asks to get a newer/different router. When we dropped the telephone line, I was able to get the XB7 which is much nicer in both looks and performance (it is the one you see in their ads).
