Set my own default column widths

The default column widths are not wide enough. I can widen the columns so I can see my data, but I would like to be able to make it my default. Otherwise I have to individually widen columns in every register in order to see my data in full.

You can set the columns in one account and push that setting to the other accounts of the same "type". If you use both single and two-line mode, you must do it for both of those.

I am on Quicken Classic Business and Personal R56.9 Build 27.1.56.9 Windows 11. When I click on the columns icon in the upper right of a report I do NOT get the option for settings at the bottom of the column list as you show it. I too must adjust every column in every report manually.

@Nancy R Cservak you stated "report", this setting above is in the register and doesn't apply to the reports. Did you really mean the register? If you did a screenshot of what you see might help to understand what the problem is.
