Credit Balance - simple math calc vs downloaded values

The topic of "credit balance" happen to pop up in one of the discussions…
I've always thought that Quicken merely used the manual amount entered on the account details,
and then subtracted the balance to arrive at the Credit Balance -
Just for grins - I manually downloaded my Chase credit card, and looked at the QFX file -
At the very bottom are the values for - outstanding balance - and credit balance -
Not sure if Quicken ever uses Credit Balance in the Account Register - vs simple math calc -
