How can I move Quicken data from a USB to my laptop. (edit)

Question

Every time I come into quicken, I have to put my thumb drive into the computer and begin another download.

I would like to be able to click on quicken and the data loads.

Every time I have tried to backup to c: it will not download so I have to download to the thumb drive.

when you open Quicken - it usually goes to the last file you opened -

If you look at the Quicken menu - File —> and look at the very bottom of that menu screen - WHERE is the file located ?

If on your flash drive - then …

1 - exit Quicken -

2 - manually Windows Copy that Quicken QDF data file to your C:-drive

and the file folder that should exist as ….. /Documents/Quicken/

3 - double click on that Quicken QDF file and it should open from your c: drive -
