SoFi dividends error
Whenever I download a dividend transaction from any of my SoFi investment accounts it comes in as a Withdrawl and is a negative number. I then hve to change it manually to Income and record the number as a dividend.
This only happens in the SoFi accounts.
I'm using Quicken Deluxe Classic R53.32 for Windows 1

What is your download method from SoFi? Do TOOLS, Account List … and look in the "Transaction Download" column for this info.

Thanks for the info. Has SoFi's website changed recently, say about the time that the issue started.
EWC usually uses Screen Scraping to gather the data, and if the website changed it might get erroneous, contradictory or confusing results.
If this is the case, SoFi appears to NOT have notified Q/Intuit of the change in a TIMELY manner, as required by the contract between them. In which case you'll just need to wait until Intuit gets around to making the needed updates to rectify this. And which will probably be after the changes for FIs that DID notify them.

I only opened the SoFi accounts in January 2024 and the problem has always existed for me. So, does this answer still apply? How long might this update take?

Yep, still applies. And, have you tried contacting Q Support via the link at the top of this page? This forum is other users … not Support by Q employees.
