Reconcile history missing transactions

I am using Quicken Deluxe for MAC. I am missing 7 transactions in my reconcile history detail. These transactions were cleared and reconciled but do not show up leading to an incorrect account balance on Quicken for my May checking account statement. When I first reconciled the May statement, all these transaction were there but It showed $121.20 outstanding. I could not find a transactions with this amount. After multiple times trying to find it, I decided to auto adjust the balance. In retrospect, I wish I had not done that. I contacted help desk and we tried to resolve by deleting the adjusted amount but then I believe it led to missing transactions on the history for other payments and debits even though they are listed accurately in the transaction list. Has anyone else had this happen?

When I have problems reconciling a statement, I reset the Cleared flags on all the unreconciled transactions in that account and then go through the statement one transaction at a time & clear each one individually in Quicken. That usually resolves any reconciliation problems for me; partially because it ensures that only transactions on the statement are marked cleared, and partially because it lets me find any transactions that are missing from Quicken.

It's also a good idea to check the reconciliation history & resolve any problems with past reconciliations before reconciling the current month.
