Latest QMac Update Won't Load my File

I'm using Classic for Mac and the latest update keeps spinning in updating your backup—it's locked up and won't go anywhere. I've deleted the app 3 times and re-downloaded from Quicken. It's also telling me that my file was opened on another computer and it was not—my latest version file is on the same hard drive. Please Help me either access the last release version so that I can try that. Either way, the new updates 7.7, I think it not allowing me to update and use my latest data file. Need help. Thanks!

Hello, I'm having a similar issue and I'm desperately trying to fix it… I have also used Quicken for many years and this honestly is causing a huge issue… I have 3 quicken files, and after updating the app to the newest version 7.7.1 and only 1 file out of the 3 will open. When I try opening the other files I get a message saying that "Quicken cannot open data file. A file does not exist". You can imagine how distressing this is…

I tried following the steps you recommended above (re-installing the older version which was in the trash, moving my file out of dropbox to the desktop, looked for backups in the Library directory with no luck). Nothing has worked.

How can I fix this issue?

    Thank you,

    Flavia
