One subcategory appears in all my spending by category queries.

If I select spending by category and select clear all in customization one subcategory remains and I cannot remove it from the report. I checked the edit properties and can see nothing that suggests it's the problem. Any ideas?

    It sounds like the issue with the new report customization screen. This is a known bug with the new screen.

    Try this:

    Go to Edit > Preferences > Early Access

    Uncheck the box next to "Customize Reports" and click OK. This will return you to the original customization screen.

    Now try your report again and see if the problem is resolved.

    Thank you bmciance, that did the trick. I'll leave the setting to get early releases unchecked for now.
