suddenly closed and zero value investment accounts have security balances

Very frustrated!

Two days ago, Quicken correctly reflected all investment account security, value, and cash balances correctly. Yesterday, 4 old, closed investment accounts that for some a few years had zero shares and zero cash suddenly have securities values in the account list. The Portfolio Value report correctly shows zero all. The Holdings View = the top line of Totals correctly shows all zeros, BUT the Security Value in Account Status reflects a large amount.

As suggested in another post, I confirmed that the "Show closed lots" was NOT checked. Next I toggled that on and then off, and neither made any difference. What happened? More importantly, how can if be corrected?

Thanks.

Could be file corruption . I would restore a backup from "two days ago".
