R56.9 installing - didn't backup data file as indicated ?

just installed R56.9 - but I don't see any new special backup file in my /backup/ folder ?
I got a message, "Update successful! Quicken has been successfully updated to version R56.9…
your data file was automatically backed up."

The mondo patches do NOT create the backup with the previous release # in the file's name. That feature is built into the desktop process that triggers the patch and not by the patch itself.
The message you cite comes from the patch and is not correct if the update is done manually.
