quicken will not open, just spinning icon.

Just since yesterday, quicken will not open, just spinning icon.  I cannot close it either.  I have rebooted several times.

You might have a corrupted Q data file.

So, try holding down CTRL & Alt while you click the icon to open Q.  That will cause it to NOT open a data file.   Only the FILE and HELP menu's will be available so that you can RESTORE.  Use a different file name for the restored file, so that you don't overwrite the current file in case this isn't the reason.
