Schwab accounts
Hi,
I've repeatedly attempted to add our Schwab accounts to Quicken without success. Schwab indicated that the accounts have been authorized, yet Quicken 7.7.1 states it could not find the accounts. Review of previous posts reveals that this has been a long standing problem. It appears they have no intention on fixing it. Replies from the company to similar posts have been useless.

It has worked smoothly for some time now… the posts about it having problems are (most likely?) old posts.
If you have multiple log-ins (e.g., spouses have their own accounts under their own logins), then you have to add Schwab twice…once for each login… and then add all desired accounts for that login, selecting to add or link the accounts to existing registers.
It is important to be patient and go through the login from Quicken to Schwab, and after authorization (or re-authorization) wait for the list of accounts from Schwab to appear in Quicken for you to choose which to include. Don't do anything while you're waiting for that. There is no progress bar, just be patient.
You might also check your Schwab 3rd party access yourself. Log in, then from the circular head-icon, click on Security Settings:
Then click on Third-Party Access:
And finally click the triangle in front of Quicken to expand the list of accounts and verify that there is a checkmark in front of each account that you want Quicken to access. (The Intuit group is for TurboTax.)
