Quicken not functional very slow to open
Since the most recent upgrade Quicken has gotten slower and slower to open and now takes over 30 minutes then it is non functional. I use quicken on three different computers configured as shown below. Quicken Classic Deluxe is not working on any of them. When I open task manager it shows that quicken is using over 50 percent of my cpu. I have reinstalled it using the installation software. I have manually deleted the Quicken folder from the Program files and reinstalled it. I have run the most recent patch. I've even moved my data file from google drive and stored on my c drive and nothing has fixed the problem. Anybody know what is going on. Need help NOW

What BUILD of Q are you running? Do HELP, About Quicken for this info.
Have you tried taking a backup and then VALIDATING your data file(s)? SuperValidating?
That extreme slowness in opening suggests corrupted data files.

I will try validating, supervalidating, and resorting a backup. It will take some time since it takes about an hour to get it loaded and quicken somewhat functional. I'll let you know what happens

OK I've tried validating the current file with no results. Frozen screen shows only file and help and both are non responsive. I've restored a backup file that loads then asks if I want to open the file. I obviously clicked OK. Same results, a blank screen that shows only file and help and both are non responsive.

When only FILE and HELP are shown, no Q data file was opened. This is usually because the CTRL & ALT keys were depressed when you tried to open Q (it's used for debugging).
It could also indicate EXTREME corruption in your Q data file. Have to tried to RESTORE progressively older backups until you find one without the issue?
And what you displayed in your latest graphic is a Windows update … not a Q update.

This sounds like the Webview2 issue, especially since you apparently just updated Windows. I found this in an old thread.
Just got off a long call with Quicken Support who patiently stood by as I updated the PC with the latest KBs. That did not help either. What ultimately helped was installing the Webview2 runtime (

Solved. I had a very corrupt data file. I restored a backup back ten days and everything is running fine now. Thanks for all your help
