Mark a transaction "cleared" with a key combination-shortcut instead of a mouse click

It would be very helpful to be able to mark a transaction "cleared" without the mouse - using a key combination such as alt-shift-C or something like that. I hate taking my hands off the keyboard multiple times to mark entries cleared. I personally do not use the "R" entry, just "cleared" but a keyboard shortcut for that might make sense too. 😁

The Clr status field in a transaction is intended to be used as follows:

    • Transaction download from the bank and accepting the transaction into your register or matching download to existing register entry marks the transaction as "c"(cleared)
    • Performing a Reconcile function, to compare your register with a monthly statement or a downloaded Online Balance marks the selected transactions as "R"(reconciled) upon completion of the Reconcile

There is no keyboard shortcut to mark a single (selected) transaction as either cleared or reconciled. A mouse-click on the Clr field of a transaction currently is the shortest way that I know of.

But, if needed, you can select a range or block of transactions by highlighting them, then right-click a highlighted transaction and select Reconcile status / cleared from popup menus.
Edit / Find/Replace is another method to select a range of transactions and "Replace Clear Status with cleared".

Please tell me why you see the need to manually change a number of transactions to cleared.
Are you not downloading transactions from the bank (which would set the cleared status for you)?
Are you not reconciling your account registers to bank statements (which would set the Reconciled status for you)?
