Quicken freezing when trying to access the Planning tab
I know this issue was addressed in older postings, but this problems seems to come and go when it wants. The problem had gone away for a bit of time and now it's back again. Using version R57.16, Build 27.1.57.16. Yes, I went through the usual repair and validate file drill with no positive results. Frankly, this is getting old.

Hello @GR2011,
I apologize that you are continuing to experience this issue. I know that you mentioned running a validate process, however, I suggest reviewing the instructions below. I do recommend that you first save a backup file prior to performing these steps.
Validate:
- File
- Validate and Repair File...
- Validate File
- Click OK
- Close the Data Log
- Close Quicken (leave it closed for at least 5 secs)
- Reopen Quicken and see if the issue persists.
If the issue persists, proceed to Super Validate. If the issue is resolved after performing validation, then please disregard the instructions to Super Validate.
Super Validate:- File
- Hold CTRL + Shift and click Validate and Repair File...
- Super Validate File
- Click OK
- Close the Data Log
- Close Quicken (leave it closed for at least 5 secs)
- Reopen Quicken and see if the issue persists.
I hope this helps!

Hi Jasmine, Had already tried those steps back in May when the issue was brought up by other users and it didn't correct the issue. Two weeks ago, the issue suddenly went away and now 28 July reappeared again. Max CPU usage when I select the "Planning" tab and am forced to manually shut it down.

Jasmine, Looks like version R58.8, Build 27.1.58.8 addressed the issue. It was also listed in the release notes. Now working as it should.
