Downloading of transactions from your financial institution seems to work for only a couple of Canadian financial institutions and so to me an annual subscription for the the Canadian version of Quicken is not very useful especially as it is very expensive for a retired person.

In June 2024, I decided not to renew and kept on getting multiple "Membership Expired!" messages like the one below which is extremely annoying:

Quicken says you can continue to use Quicken without renewing your subscription but you will not get any updates or be able to update transactions by connecting to your financial institutions.

What should I do to get rid of these Membership Expired messages?

Probably have to live with the message. I know in the US there is a renew banner taking up about 25% of the screen if you don't renew.

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

interesting in that the Canada version is different compared to the US version -

I'm not sure that this is different (at least intentionally) than the US version. I know for a fact that you will get that message if you try to do any online operation on Quicken Windows US with an expired subscription.
