Running Quicken Classic Premier version R57.16, build 27.1.57.16 on Windows 11 Pro, 23H2, build 22631.3737. Starting last week, my Quicken response time has suddenly gone beserk. What used to take less than 5 seconds now takes minutes to respond. Just starting Quicken takes almost 3 minutes until I can enter transactions. One step update also takes about 3 minutes; it used. to take about 45 seconds. This just started happening. What could be causing such a slowdown, which has occurred suddenly? My Quicken file is about 110mb. I've created a test file with only one account and one transaction in it; the slow performance happens with that test file so I know it's not something in my normal production file. My Windows system is up to date, as is my Quicken release. I've looked at all the postings for performance problems but I don't have any of the situations described. I'd appreciate any advice or help, or even just to know if you are experiencing similar problems. Thanks.
