I need to change the view on a 401(k) account to transaction view.

The view I have now has four boxes—Total Value, Portfolio by Security, Top Movers, and Value over Time. That view is not useful for me. How can I change it back to the transaction view that I use for all my accounts? Thank you if you can help.

nevermind, you posted in the wrong forum. I'll ask a moderator to move the post.

See if the Account is using the "Simple" investing method as opposed to the "Complete" method where each transaction gets listed. Sometimes Quicken flips a user's preferences, for unknown reasons.

To see transactions in your investment register you need to use the Complex setting.  To change, go to the Settings button and edit the account details to change from Simple to Complete.

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

Pardon my ignorance, but I don't see a "settings" button. Could you mean Edit/Preferences…or?

Ah…yes, I found it. I had to go to the Investment account list and then to edit.
