OL-306-A error trying to download Franklin Templeton account transactions
OL-306-A error trying to download Franklin Templeton account transactions for the last several days now.
Does anyone know how I can get this resolved? The community doesn't seem to have anything here that a search can find.

I've had the same problem with them for the past several days. I hope they get it resolved.

The error OL-306 is usually caused by one of the following:
- An incorrect account type that does not support automatic account information (that is, you may have selected a savings account type for a checking account).
- Your account has been closed.
- The account has not been authorized for downloading.
To resolve this issue:
- Update Quicken to the latest release.
- Deactivate / Reactivate the account, then complete a One Step Update.
I hope this helps!

Nope Deactivate / Reactivate the account, then complete a One Step Update does not help I get the following response. So now I'm unfortunately deactivated until this is resolved by Quicken or Franklin Templeton.

None of those symptoms apply to me. I've been downloading from Franklin Templeton for years — until this week. I can sign onto my account on their website with no problem, so the account is still open.
I am using R57.26 Q says is the latest version. I tried Reset, no help.
Since Bruce9 has been the guinea pig, I'll wait for further word before I'll try deactivation.

Same issue here. Always seems to happen with Franklin Templeton.

Seem like this should get escalated as a new issue with some priority! I had been able to download from Franklin Templeton for years without issue until very recently. Now I can't even activate downloads from them after executing the above instructions from support personnel.
What's up with this Quicken? In this case SILENCE is not golden!

Just got hung up on by Franklin Templeton, after 3 people transfers, the voice on the phone started to tell me about a recent occurrence at FT, suddenly I was disconnected. Here's there number: 800-632-2301.
Good luck,

I am having the same issues with my Franklin Templeton IRA account. When using Quicken's "One Step Update", the "Needs Your Attention" message states:
"The account …. is not authorized for this request. [OL-306-A] Additional information from Franklin Templeton Investments: Account Not Authorized."
My login credentials work via browser access to Franklin Templeton, so that is not the issue. Also, I am updated to Quicken Version R57.26; Build 27.1.57.26.
Any insights from Quicken or Franklin Templeton would be appreciated.

I have been getting this problem, OL-306A errors on Franklin Templeton for 4 days now. I can log in to the account not he web fine. I have submitted a report including sanitized data file and screen shot. I tried adding the account new to a test quicken file and that fails too. Yet it seems think it successfully downloaded info when I click "1 account" in there second image below - see screen shots.
EDIT: When I try to add the account new to a new test data file, I get the "Error - it's not your fault":

Jasmin and all respondents:
I am having the exact same issues with the 306 error code and my F&T accounts. I uploaded my report to quicken yesterday. Today (7/16) I tried restoring my backup files from July 4th and 7th. These files originally updated my F&T accounts successfully. After restoring these backup files, both attempts this time resulted with the 306 error code. Something happened last week.

I’ve had the same problem. I’ve been unable to download from Franklin Templeton for over a week. Now my account shows a 0 (zero) balance. When I tried to delete and set up a new account, I received an OFX error 2000 message. FT told me that everything is set up properly. It must be a Quicken error!

Having the same issue here, deactivated and reactivated without success. Q says "It's not your fault." Now stuck until Quicken provides a resolution.

Still broken this morning for me - day 5. Any progress on this?

Just wanted to pile on to this discussion, I'm having the same issue as everyone else. I ran file validation today and the log file did not show any problems with my Franklin Templeton account. I can log in to their website using the same credentials as stored in Quicken, so, not a problem on my end.

Today (7-18) was the first time in over a week that I was able to log into F&T and update my accounts. However, my one time update in total took 15 times longer to complete! I hope this trend does not continue.
