QXF Export / Import and subsequent change in Quicken QDF file size

I exported my Quicken file to a QXF file and then imported same for a new Quicken file. The file size went from 71 meg to 30 meg basically half the size. Anyone know the reason for this? The new Quicken file appears to be OK so I don't know if I have a leaner/meaner file or something that's is going to rear it's head later.

"Gas."
There are deleted records and unused excess table spaces (records) that weren't copied to the new file. So, anything not needed for the new file got left behind.
Unless there were errors noted during creation of the QXF file, I would say that a reduction in file size is expected.

In looking at this further, while accounts are in order I've noticed the following:

Planning info missing
Budget info missing
Calendar notes missing and some of my scheduled amount dues are either missing or incorrect.

Interesting - probably should have read this in more detail. Reports missing too but I did get my investment account information.
