Quicken Windows Classic: Alerts > Setup > Banking 'tab' missing
Awhile back my Quicken Windows Classic Banking Alerts tab suddenly went missing. Investing, Taxes, and General are still in the Alert setup list. The Banking tab had been used to setup such items as account minimums thresholds. These thresholds are still active however there seems to be no way to manage them since the Alert setup window no longer gives access to the Banking portion of the alert options and values. Is there a way to get around this? Is this a known issue to Quicken? (I've reported this issue to Quicken support twice but haven't received the slightest hint that its something they are/will work on.)

My Banking section is still there in R57.16. What release are you using? Have you tried reinstalling Quicken?

I'm at 57.26. All my s/w is up to date. The missing 'Banking' tab went missing after an update around the first of the year (I reported the specifics to support in a submittal).
I happen to run two Quicken data files for two separated accounts. The second data file only developed the same problem as the first data file months afterwards. So this appears to have something to with a past Quicken update together with some other unknown criteria.
I've reinstalled as well. (I'm also a very long term user of Quicken)
But no improvements.
Thanks for responding

This is a weird problem. I think you'll have to contact Quicken Support and let them share your screen.

In Tools / Alerts Center, the Banking tab is the first one on top.
How tall is your Alerts Center window?
Is there a vertical scroll bar in the left window pane? And if so, is that scroll bar scrolled all the way to the top?In this image, Banking would appear above Investing, but the scroll bar is not all the way at the top.
Scroll up or, your monitor permitting, make the window taller or both.Click on the "+" or "-" sign to expand or minimize a tab.

Thanks UKR. Ignoring a scroll slider would have been too easy of a solution. Nope, this is not the situation here. See these two screen fragments:
no Scroll bar appears and window panel is large, Banking is really missing. Also see the fourth alert below, this one is a Banking alert that has fired but I can't update it since the 'Banking tab' is AWOL:

If you have never reported this issue to Quicken Support by phone, there's a good chance that they haven't taken any action on your problem. Submitting a Help / Report a Problem contribution may not see any action, unless a large number of people submit the same problem or someone at Quicken finds your issue intriguing enough and contacts you directly via email for additional information.
Personally, I don't remember seeing any other Community discussions on this subject, so yours is probably some unique, never before seen critter.
Unless somebody here in the Community, another Quicken expert user or someone from Quicken, chimes in with an idea, calling Quicken Support on the phone during posted hours of operation is your best bet.
I'm fresh out of ideas, sorry.

Thanks…That is something I didn't know — I have to call Support! since using 'Report a Problem' is apparently ignorable. That is really a strange outcome since I just assumed reporting a problem with all the requested evidence material would be far more convenient and efficient (to Quicken) than burning up sometimes time on a phone call. Perhaps you only speak to a first line remote temp worker or maybe a robot??? Anyway, I can try calling some day.
