Unable to transfer stock to another account

Have a stock account that has 1044 shares of 1 security. I am trying to transfer 1025 shares to another account. I get an error message that this is too much to transfer. Last week was able to transfer 2100 of same security and it worked fine. I've tried smaller amounts and get the same error message. Checked the holdings tab (and register reflects) correct holdings of 1044 shares. Any information on what to do would help. Thanks in advance!

A common thought for that problem is that you have two similarly named securities and are picking the wrong one.

Another catch for some users is that they are in the wrong account for the transaction they are attempting. (Your holdings tab reference suggests this is not your issue.)

Thank you for your response. I did have 2 stocks with the same name (Merck and Merck1) however hadn't used Merck1 in many years. I was in the correct account. Have had lots of stock moves recently to reduce/condense accounts. I'm sure I had the right transaction correct as I had done it a few times earlier in the month. Needless to say, today it worked!!!!! I think the downloads needed to catch up, even though the proper share amount was showing in the transfer account. I guess it's best not to worry why it worked now. You have helped me in the past and I appreciate it. Thanks!!!
