Quicken Classic Premier for Windows R57.26 duplicates transactions gratuitously
Quicken Classic Premier for Windows R57.26 incorrectly, insanely duplicates transactions in an account register. It duplicates downloaded transactions. It duplicates hand-entered transactions, too. If I delete a duplicate transaction, then the original transaction is also deleted, or it is mangled. If I edit a mangled transaction to correct it, then another duplicate is created. Quicken is completely unusable. Quicken Support's only suggestion was that I update Quicken to the latest version. I did so and, if anything, the problem got worse. Possibly relatedly (Idunno), yesterday Quicken could not be started from my Windows 10 Desktop. However, restarting Windows solved that problem.

My Q just started deactivating all my banking accounts. Every day for the last 3 days I've had to go in and reauthorized my accounts. After everything is working correctly, with the correct data, which always takes some editing, I make a backup of the correct and complete file, which does nothing, because...
When I start Q the next day, the accounts are all deactivated, when I load the backup that was correct and complete from the night before, the accounts are all magically deactivated.
Thankfully it hasn't hit my investment accounts, yet.
[Removed - Language] they need to get this fixed fast. Or is Q now a CrowdStrike victim?

I'm having the same issue with transactions that magically get duplicated after a Quicken download. These are all paycheck entries where the money gets split into multiple accounts. Please help.

I too am having the same issue. When adding the category to a recently downloaded CC transaction and press save, it enters a duplicate transaction below it. When I Update the transaction download for the account it goes away. See attached. CRAZY!

August 22, 2024 - The issues is happening in PC Classis R58.9 - very annoying. As I reconcile a transaction it copies a duplicate transaction down my register. I contacted a local merchant believing he had charged me twice. My bank account was accurate - thank goodness. I'm disappointed with Quicken Classic, Build 27.1.58.9

Same issue - Quicken Classic Deluxe R58.9 build 27.1.58.9. Came here to see if there was a solution and if others saw the same thing. Closing and reopening Quicken helps as does switching accounts. But its very annoying. Seems there is no obvious fix? Been happening for a few months now.
