Quicken is trying to download one Schwab brokerage account as a credit card

I have 12 different brokerage accounts at Schwab. 11 of them download fine.

However one of them keeping displaying a type of Credit Card when trying to set up download for that account. Because of that I cannot select the brokerage account in Quicken to be associated with that account.

This is has been going on for over a year, and I cannot figure out how to get around this. I have reset all the Schwab accounts numerous times, no difference. If I change the account field on the download setup I can get a pulldown menu for the account type to show up, but the only choice is 'credit card'.

Any ideas?

Thanks

For account #12, is there some difference between it and the other 11 accounts?
What's the account used for? A loan account or a checking account, perhaps?

Some more information might be helpful.

No its a standard brokerage account with securities. It has mostly bonds in it, and I could see that some bond transactions might not be supported by Quicken, but since I cannot connect the account, that is a second level problem.

And I was able to connect this account back in 2022 even after Schwab had moved to Express Web Connect.

Sorry, that's above my pay grade …

If you haven't done so already, do contact Quicken Support on the phone and let them review the issue and your download log files for details on the error condition. Depending on the results of the review, this may need to be escalated to higher levels.

You could use a converter from MoneyThumb to create a .qif file from a downloaded Schwab csv file. Not free, but at least it works. www.moneythumb.com
