Quicken just changed every single transaction in one investment account to "Misc Exp"!!!

I have an investment account for John Hancock Investments that I update manually. I just entered four recent transactions and all of a sudden — I mean, POOF! — Quicken changed the entire record of this account, going back more than a decade, to undifferentiated "Misc Exp" and deleted all other data except the share balance figures!!! I've never seen anything like this before. Anyone able to help? Is there a way to recover data just for one account?

OK, so I ran Validate File and lo and behold, everything is back as it should be! Thank you for reminding me of that basic step. :-)

Not for a single acct. When was your latest backup?

And BTW this probably indicates a seriously corrupted data file. Have you tried Validating?
