Cannot Open Quicken After Failed Update
When I launched Quicken today, I was prompted to update which I agreed to run. The update started and then I got a message that said an error occurred. I rebooted my PC and tried to launch Quicken again but it only flashes the splash screen for a nano second and the program doesn't launch. I tried running the Canadian manual patch update (QWCA27.1.56.9MPatch.EXE) but I get the same error. I am unable to use Quicken.
How can I fix this?

Try going to your account at quicken.com (or maybe quicken.ca?) and re-download the entire application. If that still fails, you may need to uninstall before reinstalling.
Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, now using QWin Biz & Personal Subscription (US) on Win10 Pro.

If you haven't done this yet, make a copy of your quicken file before you do.
