I have accounts in both Bank of America and Chase that seem to be experiencing these problems. I've searched existing discussions for Quicken Classic but was unable to find anything that seemed to be the same as my symptoms
- Red flags appear next to the account. When I click on that account, the red flags disappear and there are no transactions that were downloaded.
- This morning, only one of the transactions in one account automatically matched. I double checked the date and amount, which what normally seems to make the transaction match even if the merchant name was exactly the same. I went through the list and manually matched each transaction.
- When matching transactions, I sometimes find an error that I made. When I open the transaction and change it. Now, there is no longer a button at the bottom to complete the matching process. If I click on a different account and then come back to original one, the completion button is there.
The phantom flag problem has been happening for months while the matching problem just started. I understand that these might be three separate items but and combined them to see if they are somehow connected.
In previous discussions, there was a hint about turning off auto fill. That option does not exist in my copy of Quicken Classic.
