Long time quicken windows user. Version R58.9 Build 27.1.58.9 I have three AM Ex Cards and my wife has two, with different log ins and passwords of course . In the last two months maybe since the last update , not sure about exact start I not been unable to download both sets of transactions at the same time I have to deactivate and reactivate for each separately but doing this over and over is very annoying When I reactivate my accounts I get message of reach of my wife's account and vice versa when I reactivate her accounts. I have done this over and over. ON the Am Ex side I have revoked authorization for each account and started over again. Need help on what to do next.

Long-time AMEX and Quicken user. I have three cards on my account, two of them are additional card holders. All three cards have their own logins.

When setting up Quicken accounts, one thing I learned in the Express Web Connect+ transition that isn't obvious: You main card should be set up for online services using "American Express", and your additional card holders should be set up with "American Express - Delegate".

Before discovering this, I was having strange download behavior that sounds similar to what you're experiencing. Once set up correctly, all the problems went away and my AMEX accounts have been running trouble-free since.

I'm not quite sure how your cards are set up based on your comments. Any AMEX card may have it's own login account on the AMEX website. But the key is how the cards themselves are related to each other.

My post describes how to set up Quicken accounts when your cards have a primary card holder and what AMEX calls "additional card holders" on that primary card. The cards are related to each other (one way to tell: your primary card statement includes all the transactions from the additional card holders).

Contrast this to cards that are not related to any other card but exist as a primary on their own.

    Pulling this together:

Primary cards in Quicken need to be set up using the financial institution "American Express"

Any additional cards on a primary card need to be set up using the financial institution "American Express - Delegate"

Anyone else have any ideas how to solve this problem? these are 5 separate accounts with three for me and two for my wife. they are not additional card holders. on the am ex website I can log in and see my three accounts and my wife can log in and see her two accounts . OSU has worked fine for many years including the change to the new connection method. Until about a month ago. Now I have to deactivate each set of accounts every time I use as only one will download at a time .
