Credit card charges and payments importing backwards when added to Quicken

For 2 out of 3 credit card companies that I use, the charges are posting as positive (black font) and payments are posting as negative (red font) when I added my accounts to Quicken. This is leading to the Ending Balance being drastically different than the Online Balance and screwing up my reports for tracking spending.
For 1 month of 1 card, I manually changed every entry from "Amount" to "Charge" and "Payment" categories and got things to line up appropriately. Is there a way to do this in bulk, or multiply all of the charges by a "-1" before I add the monthly statement into Quicken or am I stuck manually changing every credit card entry?
