Backup. "the operation could not be completed" (Q Mac)

Quicken Mac, running on a Mac Mini M2 Pro, Sonoma 14.6.1

Absolutely will not back up. Either automatically on closing app, or manual from, File>Save a back up.

"The operation could not be completed. No other information is available about the problem"

Last back up I have is two weeks ago because I just havent been closing I guess. Online help suggest reinstalling the previous back up, so lose 2 weeks of transactions and manual stock prices?

Ive tried changing the back up location, to no avail.

Any known alternatives?

    Yes it was only the back ups.
    Thank you for the knowledge of the backup file. Simple when known lol.

    I tried, plug in hard drive, desktop, cloud(s), SD card through a port, logged in as a admin, and restarted multiple times.

    Just had the update to Quicken, and it immediately manages the back ups.... Also hilarious.

    .......I shall be quiting out of the program everytime from now on.
