Can an income reminder be changed to a bill reminder?

I have had numerous reminders set up for my credit card bills. Several months ago (not sure exactly), several of the bill reminders suddenly became income reminders. I didn't realize this until my account balances became screwed up and then realized that the bill reminders got entered as income. First, how did these established bill reminders get changed (they previously worked as intended, then changed on their own to income). Second, is there a way to change them back to bill reminders? The only way that I have found, is to delete the income reminders and then recreate them as bill reminders. But I shouldn't have to do this. There should be a Method drop-down to change the "deposit" to "transfer".

    AFAIK, the answer is no.
An existing reminder's Bill, Income or Transfer type cannot be changed.

Have you tried changing the reminder's amount from a positive to a negative amount (or vice versa), to see if that creates a proper transfer from checking to credit card register action?

If that doesn't do the trick, delete and redefine the reminder as Transfer reminder, from checking to credit card register.
