I am getting notice of a pending update but I don't see any release notes for it.

After installing, you can check the release notes in-product by navigating to Help > Release Notes. Alternatively, Windows Release Notes can also be found here, and/or in this Community Post, you will find all the recent R58.XX release notes.
Please note that after R58.9 there is also a newer version release available now— R58.14.
