Bill Pay failed and didn't receive error emails

Hello. All of my scheduled bill pays through the Quicken bill pay service failed this week. I did not receive notification of this until I opened Quicken today. I am supposed to receive emails when this occurs (I did not and they were not in my spam). Since this is clearly an issue with Quicken not notifying me with enough time to fix the issue on my own (pay the bills manually) where do I send the late fees I've incurred for reimbursement?

You will likely not convince Quicken to pay your late charges. I cannot answer your question as you have to contact Quicken support with your complaint. Why are you not using bill pay through your bank or credit union? You can set up alerts to have your bank text and/or email you when the transaction is completed and funds have been withdrawn from your account. In addition, you can access your bank account online to see if the payment has been deducted from your account on the day it is due. So much easier for me and I don't have to worry about late payments hitting my credit report.

Bill pay through my bank is the backup. I like the convenience of only having to pay the bill once, versus entering it into the bank to pay and then entering it into Quicken.

But since Quicken screwed up and didn't notify me that the bill pay system had an error, I incurred late fees solely due to Quicken's negligence. They owe me at least coverage of the late fees.

I understand the convenience of only paying the bill once, versus entering it into the bank to pay and then entering it into Quicken but now the convenience has turned into an inconvenience for you in addition to late payment charges which are pretty hefty.
