BUG: Attachment icon missing even though there's an attachment
I have a transaction (happens to be an invoice transaction) to which I attached a PDF, but it's missing the icon that shows that there is an attachment. Other transactions show the paperclip so I'm not sure what's going on with this one.

It's probably not a bug, but something amiss with your system. If all other transactions function correctly, the issue is probably with that transaction. The first troubleshooting step I'd try is simply deleting the transaction in question and re-entering the transaction.

While it may seem convenient to blame the operating system for every error, what would lead you to believe that Windows is causing an internal issue with Quicken? I dragged a file to the attachment box, the attachment opens just fine (meaning it was embedded in the data file successfully, but the icon isn't there - that's like saying Excel multiplied two numbers incorrectly because of Windows. My guess is that Quicken didn't update it's internal database correctly and therefore doesn't display the icon, which would have nothing to do with the OS. Further, deleting the attachment from the transaction and re-adding it made the icon show up.
