Multiple suggestions: streamline data entry, adjust categories, collapse empty fields, etc. [Edited]

Great concept. Execution needs work.

  • Current version asks for same information to be entered on multiple screens.
  • Recommend duplicate names be permitted across categories, but not permitted within categories.
  • Suggest that passwords be entered on institution screen and automatically create an entry in password category,
  • Suggest viewed screens be collapsed to hide empty fields and only displayed when user requests to edit screen.

    Hi there @pnweeks,

    Thanks for your feedback and we are actively working on improvements large and small.

    1. I want to avoid this. Is there a place/crossover where this is particularly annoying? There is some flexibility for you to use LifeHub how you'd like that can lead to duplication, but I hope it's mostly something we can get out of your way/eliminate.
    2. Right now, we do let you reuse names and probably won't change this. For some it's useful and they use related items (to see all of, say, Kirby's IDs). Would you want us to warn you when you do?
    3. Yes, yes, yes, we do plan to work on making entry more compact/in-line (so you don't have to go to other places to add things).
    4. And, again, as for your third suggestion, this is on our roadmap for the next two quarters to work on.
