Why does one account register always open to the same spot?

I have one account (my main checking account) that always opens to the same spot on a date back in August 2024. It would highlight a certain transaction even. I deleted that transaction and recreated it, but it's still opening on the same date. Is anyone else having the issue and is there a way to stop it? I even tried deleting the Quicken .plist but that didn't fix it. It's a little annoying to have to keep scrolling all the way to the current period. All of my other accounts are working fine.

This has been an ongoing issue for a long time and no-one has found a solution that works all the time. But this seems to work most of the time: Scroll the register to the end, then make any small edit to the most recent translation in the register (e.g., add a character to the memo). Then immediately quit Quicken. That seems to lock in the correct register scroll most of the time. You may need to do it a couple times to get it to stick.

Also BTW, you can jump to the beginning or end of a register by hitting the Home or End key on a Mac extended keyboard. If you don't have an extended keyboard, then fn-Left-Arrow and fn-Right-Arrow do the same thing.
