How to show Banking in Investments
Quicken Mac v7.9.1
How can I include my Capital One Checking and Savings totals in my Investments so that my total cash is included along with my Brokerage money market amount in my asset allocation?

Unfortunately, there's no way to force checking and savings accounts into the asset allocation short of changing the accounts to Investment type, which I don't recommend. The Investing side in Quicken is pretty much walled off from the Banking side.
That said, I guess it probably woundn't hurt to reclassify the Savings account as Brokerage. I'm not sure if it would still be downloadable though. And to do this, you can't simply change the account type. You would have to create a new Brokerage account and then drag and drop all the Savings account transactions to the new account in the sidebar.
Maybe someone has a clever way to accomplish this, but I don't know what it is.
I would suggest that you create a customized Net Worth report including only the cash accounts to get a total for them. But this will only give you that number and not integrate it into the Assest Allocation card.
If you look through the
section of the forum, I think you'll find one or more posts about improving reporting, especially for investments. You'd want to vote for and comment on those.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s1
