Reset file password for Quicken Classic for Mac

I have been using TouchID to open my Quicken file for too long, and I forgot the password to the file.

I tried "removing the password," but it does not allow me to. I tried looking for it, but there isn't a "Forget Password" option I can find.

What can I do?

Note: I have my Quicken ID password. I do not need to reset that. I need to reset the password for the Quicken file.

I don’t think it’s going to let you just remove the password without entering the correct password first; the password would be pretty useless if anyone who didn’t know it could do that.

You could try using Quicken’s assisted password removal service, that might be the only option left for you.
