I realized recently if I edit any Bill with a split, and try to change/update the category split, I cannot, since those items are disabled. Screenshot attached. This also happens if I create a new Bill.
Did you try clicking the button with the two right pointing arrows?
Well I'd swear I did, but that works, thanks. It is however (AFAICT) the same gray that indicates disabled elsewhere in the dialog.
That button does look pretty faint in your screen capture. I’ll have to check the next time I have Q2017 open to see if the button looks so washed out there. I’m more of a keyboard person so likely have just been using the keyboard shortcut CTRL S whenever I want to edit a split.
