Quicken Schedule Update for Accounts No Longer Working
Quicken Schedule Update for Accounts stopped working several months ago (July 2024). Prior to that time, my Quicken accounts were updated successful at the prescribed time each day (4:00am EDT). Now when I Iogin to Windows each morning, I receive the following message and a dialog box with a message similar to this:
"Quicken was unable to update your accounts. Enter your password to update now."
If I do this, the Quicken Backup Agent (two parallel yellow arrows in my task bar hidden icons box) "hangs" and I must then use the task manager to stop the process.
Manually updating my accounts works fine. I have attempted to remedy the issue by taking the following steps:
>Reinstalled Quicken Classic Premier R59.1 Oct 2024
>Set my Windows PC power setting to "Never Sleep"
>Making sure that Quicken Backup Agent is enabled in Startup (unable to locate a Quicken program service in Task Manager/Services)
>Validated my Quicken Data File.
>Assuring that my daily Acronis PC backup program completes by 2am so as not to interfere with the Quicken Schedule Update at 4am.
