Updated my Mac os to sequoia and Quicken does not launch

Hello, just updated my iMac to the Sequoia OS system and Quicken stubbornly doesn't launch. I get a window saying that it is opening my file and preparing to update database and sits there for 15+ minutes and have to force quit the app. Can't seem to be able to launch it.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

Updating the database is normally associated with updating the Quicken app, not macOS. Updating macOS should not cause that message. First thing I'd try is to download and reinstall the Quicken app from your Quicken.com account, then restart the computer.
