TD Bank and Bill pay

Question

I want to change my bank from Wells Fargo (upping minimum balance for no fees from $1000 to $20,000, absurd) to TD Bank.  I have had no issues paying bills directing from Quicken thru Wells Fargo.

I am not sure that TD Bank offers bill pay directly from Quicken and have seen numerous TD Bank issues lately on the Quicken community.  No one at my local TD Bank can answer this question and I honestly trust this community more that the folks at TD Bank.  I rather not use TD Bank on-line bill pay.

Bottom line.  Is anyone paying bills directly from Quicken thru TD Bank checking.

Thanks for the info.  Based on this community, TD Bank/Quicken having connection issues since August.  A little afraid to switch to TD bank.

I don't bank with TD, so no first hand knowledge.

They offer a Direct Connect connection which is required for the type of information exchange between Q and the FI for doing billpay, they offer "PAYMENT" which is the indication that billpay is supported.  I have no idea if they charge for a DC connection which some FIs charge for.

Hopefully, someone else will chime in with first hand info and hopefully their response is not based on a "grandfathered" condition for that level of service which I believe WF was.
