How to stop Quicken accessing CU account when offline

Quicken Classic 7.9.1

I am getting daily error messages from my CU (Direct Connect) that Quicken is attempting to access my account when I am off line (see below). I have closed my mobile app to see if this was the problem but this did not solve the problem. CU suggested I disable "any form of automatic Process .." but I can't find that option. CU suggested I turn off alerts, but I would like alerts for legitimate unauthorized attempts to log into my account.

"We looked over the login activity on your account ending in 30 and Quicken_QFX is logging in to download your share account transaction history on a daily basis. Once that program access your account online, this alert is sent to you automatically. You will need to check with your Quicken settings and disable any form of automatic processes that occur without you having to login in to Quicken to manage exporting any of your account information. You can always inactive this alert by clicking on the “Online Services” tab located on the gray task bar and select “Alerts and Messages”. You will need to click on “Manage Alerts” and uncheck this alert nicknamed Account Challenged."

If you do not want to receive the daily messages when the Quicken server, on behalf of you, accesses the bank's website to check for new transactions to download, then please follow the bank's instructions (which you posted above) and inactivate the Alert Messages on the bank's website.

This will not prevent the Quicken server or you from downloading transactions. It should just stop the daily nagging message.

Are you syncing to Mobile & Web?

Yes. I suspect turning off SYNC would eliminate my alert problem but I assume I would no longer be able to status my account via my mobile app or my laptop. BTW, I have been operating this way for years without a problem. What has changed? And why do I not get this alert when I manually open Quicken and update my account?
