Starting Over

I use Windows and have used Quicken for about 20 years so keep track of retirement savings and finally for retirement 16 yrs. ago and things were fine. We had our last financial advisor for around 10 yrs. and he spoiled us by keeping us informed on various things. Then he retired and we got a new advisor.
Can you deactivate investment accounts and then re-enter them starting with the current balance? Our new advisor's office readjusted where/how accounts show up onlirrent balance? Our new advisor's office readjusted where/how accounts show up online and now quicken is all messed up and won't download updates. In trying to fix it, I somehow add $6 million to our net worth. Sure wish that would happen. I followed directions and it is still not right. I also realized that my Quicken had changed from classic view to Std. view, so I switched it back to classic view. Help or I may just not be able to follow how things are doing and keeping track of it. It's like the advisor forgot he'd been told that I keep a close eye on things. Then they go and make it that my Quicken is hosed.
