Pay someone for custom / complex reports?

hi all.

quicken for mac user here - using the latest version.

very happy with the product - it's certainly meeting most of my needs.

i would love some kind of investment performance report. i understand that one exists for quicken windows, but not for quicken mac.

it's certainly not in my wheelhouse to try to create this.

i'll want the report to look at a few accounts in quicken - and i'm thinking that it would need to ignore contributions, but include market gains, dividends, etc. and i'm sure there's other stuff to figure out.

and i'd like to be able to run it year to date, or by picking a start and an end date.

someone with access to the windows investment performance report might have a good head start there.

first question - is it possible for someone to write that report, send it to me, and import it into quicken?

and if so - does anyone know someone that might be interested / capable of writing this kind of report?

It’s not possible for anyone other than the Quicken developers to create a new kind of report that currently doesn’t exist and add it to Quicken, nor can you import into your Quicken file a report created by someone else. The best you can do is to export the data required for the report to another tool like Numbers or Excel and create the report there; you could certainly hire someone to do that but this probably isn’t the best place to find them.
