Quicken Classic will not load onto my computer

I have an HP Pavilion laptop and cannot load QUicken under WIndows 11. I spent 1.5 hours with Quicken and couldn't resolve problem.

Got error message 1618 "attempting to install software while another program is running".

Any ideas on how to resolve the problem?

    Please google for "Windows error 1618" and follow instructions found there.
    Another Windows software update process is currently running. It needs to complete before you can install Quicken.
